The services are provided by an experienced and skilled team of Clinicians who are totally committed to providing care for the specialist client group. They form a strong Multi-professional Clinical Teams with considerable expertise within the specialist area of brain injury and Deafness and Mental Health. The staff team are committed to inter professional working practices and includes:

  • Staff Grade Psychiatrists
  • Visiting Neurologist (weekly)
  • Regular GP Visits
  • Consultant Clinical Psychologist
  • Consultant Neuro Psychologist & Psychologist Assistants
  • Occupational Therapists - Assistant Occupational Therapists
  • Senior Nurse Manager
  • Clinical Nurse Specialists
  • RMN's, a full time RGN
  • Rehabilitation Support Therapists
  • Speech and Language Therapists (Contracted)
  • Physiotherapist (on referral)
  • Social Workers
  • Administration and Support Staff

We provide a high quality specialist service to patients by ensuring that staff remain highly skilled, well motivated and committed to the service values and philosophy. To achieve these aims the following opportunities are available to all staff:

  • Planned induction and on-going training programmes.
  • An Individual Performance and Development review process to enable all staff to develop their skills.
  • A generous Education and Training Budget to fund staff's participation in internal and external training events.
  • National Vocational Qualifications are available to staff to formally recognise and reward role related learning and enhanced competence.

All clinical staff also participate in a hospital wide system of clinical supervision and appraisal.
